How do I know if you’re the right coach for me?
I’m not the right coach for everyone.  And you aren’t the right client for every coach.  The best way to discover if I’m the coach for you is to sign up for a coaching consultation.  The initial consultation gives you the opportunity to ask whatever questions you might have about my approach, training, fee structure, how coaching works, and how coaching can help.  I may also do a sample coaching session with you which will help you to get a feel for my style and how I work with clients.

How do we work together?
Once you make the decision to work with me as your coach, we decide how often to meet to get the results that you want. Generally the more often we meet, the quicker that you will see results. We then schedule regular coaching calls, where you will call me at a pre-arranged time.

Is there a commitment?
No!   However, I suggest that clients make a mental 3 month committment to themselves. Changing life habits takes time.  Research suggests that to add a new habit you must practice that new habit every day for at least 21 days.  Since we won’t be meeting every day, and working on strategic goals for the bigger shifts and transformations takes longer, you may want to commit to yourself that you'll stick with it when the going gets tough. I guarantee that you will see results, but you must do the work to get the results.  That means that for 3 months you apply what you are learning, you step out of your comfort zone, you work on your self-development and self discovery, and you consistently take action between calls. Most clients coach for 6 to 8 months on average, and some for years as they continue to receive the benefit of coaching. It's up to you to decide whether you are getting the benefits of coaching. If you reach your goals, you may want to take a break from coaching, or you may want to set new goals and work towards the new goals with your coach.

What if I’m not happy with the coaching? Am I stuck for 3 months?
If something in our coaching together isn’t working for you, I ask that you bring it to my attention as soon as possible so that I can try a different approach, or so that I can explain what’s going on.  If after giving me a chance to try something different you feel it’s still not working, I’ll refund unused portion of the monthly coaching fee and refer you to one of my colleagues who might be a better fit.

Can we meet in person?
Because I have clients around the world, and I travel frequently to conduct business trainings, I’m unable to meet clients in person at this time.  You will find that meeting by phone is as effective as meeting in person.

Does meeting by phone work?
In short, Yes!  I ask that you block out the time that we are working together as if you were meeting me in my office.  That means no multi-tasking on the computer or trying to accomplish other things.  That also means setting aside a space on your end where you have privacy so that you are fully present for our calls.  If you do all of this, I can assure you that you will get as much out of our meeting as if we met in person.  Coaching by phone still has the same accountability as if we met in person, so you know that when we meet I will be asking you how you did on your action items.

Okay, I’m ready, what’s it going to cost me?
Coaching is an investment in yourself and your future.  What’s it worth to you if you are working towards and accomplishing all the goals that you set out for yourself this year?  What’s it worth to you to have the quality of life that you’ve always wanted and to balance your work and your personal life?  Okay, I’ll get off my soapbox!  It depends on how quickly you want to see results and your budget for coaching.  For those who want to get quicker results and have the budget for it, I suggest meeting more often.  If you wanted to be in peak shape as quickly as possible, going to the gym once per week just wouldn’t cut it.  You would have to go at least 3 to 5 times per week.  I offer different coaching packages ranging from three 45 minute coaching sessions to two 45 minute coaching sessions per month.  Please see coaching rates to find the right coaching package for you.

What if I still have questions?
Please contact me to set up an initial coaching consultation during which you can ask whatever questions you might have about my approach, training, fee structure, how coaching works, and how coaching can help.
